An all metal Ransome Patent Travel Inkwell with a glass bottle by De La Rue.
The Ransome patent is a classic piece of travel design with the outer case forming the stand for use. It's probable that this inkwell originally had a rounded plate, similar to the ends, to each side covering the joint of the outer case and inkwell.
The inkwell is stamped Ransome's Patent with a crown above De La Rue to one side and Push to the other. Circa 1900.
Closed size is given.
