A stylised brass Desk Cannon.
The Cannon is made up of a number of cast parts which are held in place by the threaded finials to the centre of the wheels and to bar at the end of the carriage. The holes to the carriage frame show that originally the cannon had a further bar with finials, now missing.
The barrel tips and the wheels work. This cannon is a good weight and a decorative object for a desk or mantelpiece. Circa 1900.
