This model has a with moulded edge to the candlestick dishes and can be considered large with a diameter of 5 inches.
The Brighton Bun is a classic piece of campaign or travel design. One candle sconce has a screw fitting with the other a female section. The same is true of the 2 dishes allowing them to be screwed together to form a bun shape which will also contain the two removed sconces. Early to mid 19th Century.
