A cast Iron Folding Pen Stand to take 4 pens or pencils.
The stand is decorated with a foliage design cast into the metal which is continued with leaves to hold the pens. Each side has a sprung bar which allows the sides to fold flat against the centre section that unites them. We have had 2 similar Pen Rests in the past but to a different design (see our Archive) which were registered to 1900.
The registration number of 480716 to this one dates the design to 1906.
