A medium sized grained leather Kit Bag.
The bag has a square mouth and a slightly unusual checked lining which has two pockets to one side. As you would expect, it locks into an open position to give easy access. When closed, the bag has two twist clips and a central lock. The key is missing but the lock still works and opens by squeezing the two ends towards each other. The bag sits on 5 domed brass stud feet to lift it off the ground. Early 20th Century.
