A leather Tent Pole Strap with brass hooks.
Although not stamped, this is a Securem design Tent Pole Strap of a type sold by the Army & Navy CSL either side of 1900. The strap has a belt fixing that has holes to fix it to 6 different diameters. The interior of the leather hide strap is lined with corrugated rubber to give it a firmer grip against the tent pole. The Secruerm was also sold with a longer lantern hook to the middle but those without seem to harder to find. Circa 1900.
The size is for the strap extended to its full length.
