A Pair Of Parade Cavalry Boots
81860
A pair of black leather Parade Cavalry Boots with beech trees. The boots are stamped to the top of each part of the beech trees with Parade and either L or R depending on the foot. They have a sprung brass block to the back of each heel to fit a portable box spur which can be easily fitted or removed.
The top 4 inches of the boot interiors are lined in green leather which has the maker's details stamped in gilt. On both boots the wording is very worn and it's difficult to confirm the maker's name although the address is in London W.C.. The boots are well made with good stitching and the trees are complete. Circa 1900.
