A set of silver plate knife and fork travel cutlery.

Their design is simple but effective - the cutlery handles become the sheaf case for the blade and fork tines. Each implement is made in two parts with a section to the bottom of the knife and the fork slotting into the handle to form the cutlery.

The handles are made with fine grooves running their length to provide both decoration and grip.

We have had a similar set in the past but made of silver and retailed by Andrew Barrett & Sons. They were hall marked for 1903 and had a leather case. It's probable that this set also originally had some form of case, long since lost. . Circa 1900.

Size for use of each implement is given.
