A nickel Roundlet or Barrel Corkscrew made for travel.

The T-bar handle of corkscrew the forms the case for the worm. The elongated barrel shaped handle unscrews to its middle to separate into two pieces. The end of the worm screw can then be pulled to its maximum length, when it will drop at a right angle to the handle. The removed half of the handle is then screwed back on to fix the worm in place. The point of the worm looks to be damaged but this does not effect its use.

When packed, the corkscrew is small enough to fit into a pocket. Circa 1900.
