A pigskin leather, glass and electro plated nickel silver Hip Flask.
The flask's cap has a standard bayonet fitting opening on a half turn. The removable cup is stamped EPNS to the base with the reference number 5 but has no maker's marks.
Such flasks were, and still are today, popular for field sports and for travel. A larger number of companies made them and they came in a wide variety of sizes. This flask is still very useable today. Early 20th Century.
