A leather on brass Bucket shaped Hat Box Inkwell.
The Hat Box lid opens by depressing a hidden button to the front of the box. The inkwell has an inner lid that seals the glass bottle with a sprung pad. This lid is also held by a sprung catch.
The inkwell is shaped just like a turn of 1900 Bucket Hat Box with tooled tramlines to represent the box's strap and with a replaced handle to the top. Circa 1900.
