A Skull's Patent Plectaneum Chair in American Birch.
The patent is the folding mechanism of one pair of legs having a cut out centre allowing them to slide on a fixed bolt to the second pair of legs. The seat and back are caned in willow. Edwin Skull's name is stamped to the chair back.
