A leather & brass Tent Pole Strap.
Although this is a relatively simple piece of kit, it would be very useful in a tent, where you are always looking for a place to hang items. The strap has two holes to adjust the tightness of the belt buckle to the tent's pole.
The strap is well made with a good steel buckle, loop for the belt and tooled tramlines to the belt's edges. The four gilt brass hooks are each fixed to the leather belt by two copper rivets. A very useful item for an army officer at the turn of 1900.
