A faux Crocodile Cigar Case.
The leather for this case has been passed through a roller to imprint the 'crocodile grain' to it. Each sleeve is then made from one piece of leather which has been cut and neatly stitched to two sides to form the case. The top edges have then also been stitched.
This case would take 5 or 6 reasonable sized cigars or a mobile / cell phone. The interior dimensions are 3 1/4 inches (8.3cm) by 1/2 inch (1.4cm). The length is adjustable as one sleeve fits over the other. Early 20th Century.
