An Anglo Indian brass Bucket.

This type of bucket is often referred to as a Campaign Bucket, perhaps because they were mostly used by the army in India.

It is of tampered form and has a simple brass rod, swing handle. The sides are decorated with turned tramlines and it sits on a raised foot. Copper rivets are used to fix the foot and the fittings to hold the handle. The bucket has some dents and marks here and there but they are not distracting or unexpected. Mid to late 19th Century.
