A mahogany, oval double Campaign Mirror with a standard looking glass and a smaller magnifying mirror.
This is a standard design of campaign mirror with the glass held in by decorative boxwood stringing. It can either be hung from its brass ring or the mirror folds back on itself to free stand. It has a brass push button, sprung catch to lock it when not in use. This is a good example of a type of campaign mirror that was made throughout most of the 19th Century. Early to mid 19th Century.
