A conical leather Drinking Cup that is folded to flatten when packed inside its case.
Both the Army & Navy CSL and George Smith & Co. of 151 Strand advertised this clever form of cup in two sizes priced at 3/3 and 3/10. We have had two of the smaller sized before, with this the larger. The top of the cup is hemmed to both make it stronger and to give a better lip for drinking from. The case is well made with fine stitching and blind tooled lines.
When packed, this cup is lightweight and flat so that you would hardly notice it in your pocket. Circa 1900.
