Leather Pocket Case

Leather Pocket Case

£95

A green leather Cigar Case or Wallet with metal frame.

The leather has been rolled to give it a cross hatched pattern and is held by a metal frame. The interior has a pocket of grained leather to each side, set at right angles to each other. The padded interior behind the pockets is plain, tan leather. The frame has a catch released by a button to open the case.

This form of case was made over a number of years, with the illustration of two similar from the 1907 Army & Navy CSL catalogue. This case has no maker's name but is in good, condition and of course could be used for far more than just cigars or cigarettes. Early 20th Century.
