A large leather Collar Box.
The box is much large than most and has a standard belt strap over the top to secure it. The interior is lined in a fine red leather and one collar, dated 1912, remains in the box.
THere is some water staining to the base of the box which has turned the leather a much darker colour. Collar boxes make good storage containers and the size of this one makes it more useful. Early 20th Century.
