A pair of mahogany, low foot stools with needlework upholstery and bold turning to the leg.
Given the size of these square foot stools you wouldn't think there would be a need for them to reduce further in size for travel. However, the legs are fitted with wooden threads and unscrew from the frames. The length of the threads are as long as the legs giving a strong fitting.
It's always nice to have a pair and these stools stand well. Early to mid 19th Century.
