A steel and brass Paper Knife in the form of a Sword with scabbard.
The sword has a slightly curved blade, a brass guard and a brass wire knot. The top of the handle has a lion's head and the guard has a wreath surround a shield with cross and crown above.
Such paper knives were sold by a number of retailers on Bond Street and London's over smart shopping locations. There were aimed at gentlemen with a military background and were very popular. Early 20th Century.
