A leather Horseshoe shaped Collar Box.
The shape of this collar box was aimed at horse lovers and although not as common as round collar boxes, they do turn up now and again. Aside from the shape, which allows it to stand as shown, its made in the same way as a standard round collar box.
Its well made, with good stitching. Collar boxes are quite useful for storage. Early 20th Century.
