These mahogany shelves are made to a simple but effective design that was also used for washstands by a number of the London makers.
The shelves are supported by brass standards, with steel rods which unscrew to allow the shelves to flat pack. The crest rail to the top shelf is also removable. These shelves could be hung or stood on a flat surface. Late 19th century.
