Brooks

1810 - 1920

Henry Brook's father Cox Brooks, formed the company in 1810 at 31 Lyme Street, Camden, London and was primarily known for making piano actions, hammer heads and keyboards.

Henry Brooks were primarily concerned with making parts for musical instruments but also patented actions for raising seating. In 1920 Brooks amalgamated with Herrburger. Round piano stools marked H. Brooks are also known.
