A mahogany round topped Table made to dismantle.

The top is made from two pieces of wood with a stepped moulding and a low lip to the edge. The underside of the top has a bracing bar to strengthen it and give the depth for a screw fitting. The underside of the top is stamped with the number '61427'. The top unscrews from its turned column which in turn, unscrews from the base board. A turned collar with a moulding fits above the base.

The table is a few inches taller than most and the top much wider than the base board. For modern use it would make a good lamp table. Mid 19th Century.
