This mahogany table is a recognised design with the top bolted to swing 90 degrees and then fold out to double its size. The brass caps to the top of the legs instantly suggest that they are removable and they pack into the long drawer for transport. The turning to the legs are elegant yet solid and this is a well made piece of Georgian furniture.
The antique period is early 19th century.
