A silver plate on copper Travel Inkwell with a glass well.

This was a standard design of travel inkwell although they are more commonly found in brass. They often used with writing slopes but could also be use alone. The bolt done lid would keep the ink safe in the bottle and prevent it spilling during travel. Early to mid 19th Century.

In the video, this inkwell is the 2nd from the right of the back row, as you view.
