A small leather hide case lined in green baize.

The stitching marks to the front and back of the case show that it was made with a central divider. As can be seen from the interior, this has been removed at a later date to make it more practical for general use. The case was probably originally made to take two lawn bowls or possibly some sort of instrument. It has a shaped, padded handle on brass D rings and a gilt brass hasp lock; the key missing.

The leather has a pleasant nut-brown colour and the case still useable. Early 20th Century.
