Christopher Clarke Antiques hold an annual exhibition
as part of the Cotswold Antique Dealers' Association
Exhibitions Fortnight. The CADA Fortnight is a
group of co-ordinated shows organised by members
in their shops and galleries and illustrates the
richness and diversity of antiques that are to
be found in the heart of England.
The subject of our annual exhibition is centred on our specialist area of dealing, Campaign Furniture. We produce an in-depth catalogue for each exhibition, which is sold by a number of art & antique booksellers and is an invaluable source of information for those interested in the subject. Every item in the catalogue has at least one colour image and has a well researched description. Added to this our catalogues have also included a Forward by Nicholas Brawer, author of British Campaign Furniture, Elegance Under Canvas and information on particular makers or areas of collecting.
We are proud to have won the 2003 British Antiques and Collectables Award for the best In - House exhibition with 'At Ease Gentlemen, an exhibition of 18th, 19th and early 20th Century Campaign Furniture and Travel Equipment.
