A small, leather on glass Hip Flask with plated neck and cap, marked for James Dixon of Sheffield.
The leather has an aperture to the middle on both sides to gauge the contents and is decorated with simple tooled tramlines to the front. An unusual variant on the standard spirit flask by the most prolific maker at the turn of 1900. Early 20th Century.
