A medium sized, leather on glass Hip Flask that has James Dixon's marks to the plated neck.
The form stands out from most typical flasks in that the glass isn't protected to the bottom half by a removable cup. The front has tooled tramlines. The pigskin leather has an aperture to both sides to view the level of the contents and the cap is a standard half twist bayonet fitting. The flask has Dixon's trumpet in banner logo to one side of the neck with the initials JD&S to the other. Early 20th Century.
