As portable shelves go these are large but as can be seen from the two photographs they fold down to a relatively small size for travel. The frame is hinged in the middle, top and bottom of the two uprights.
The two middle shelves are held by grooves cut into the uprights and when they are removed the sides collapse inwards, folding in half. The top and bottom of the frame follow, concertinaing inwards to meet each other, with the folded sides in between. The gallery bar to the top shelf is also hinged and folds down neatly. The shelves have a simple thumb moulding to the edge and the two middle ones are numbered 'I' and 'II' to locate them to their correct position.
